About Jonathan

Jonathan is a writer, producer, and director  who loves the crazy true stories that no one knows about but change the world.

From ROB THE MOB — where an unlikely couple brought down John Gotti and the Mafia in NYC in the 1990s, to Y2K:  COUNTDOWN TO CHAOS (where he correctly predicted that Y2K would not end the world) to CRISIS IN THE KREMLIN (where he anticipated what the CIA and State Department missed — the downfall of the Soviet Union) Jonathan has always put his skills as an international reporter for the Associated Press to good use.

Jonathan began his career in Hollywood working for legendary producers ROGER CORMAN (Little Shop of Horrors, Bucket of Blood) and DINO DE LAURENTIIS (King Kong, La Strada) before setting out on a twenty-five year career as a professional writer.

Jonathan has directed Documentary Shorts (Just Gizelle), produced the number one film in the United States (Breakdown), and wrote the top ranked television movie of the year (Y2K).

Active in the community, Jonathan helped start the Larchmont Charter School and he has taught screenwriting at the American Film Institute, the number one ranked film school in the world, for the last decade.

Jonathan is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University where he majored in History and Science and was president of the Harvard Lampoon.
